'Superstorm Sandy' was (political) "good luck": WSJ

How about the rest of you there?? You know....the tens of millions run over by unprecedented mega-storm 'Sandy'. BTW: Wasn't it close to 47% of Americans "taking" that one... on the chin??

...How lucky are YOU feeling? (Pls. see the end of the post for some additional material.)

Until they may slip it behind their pay-wall, here is an off-site link to The Wall Street Journal's post-election 11/7/12 opinion article. New window opens, no affiliation:

Uh-yeah....we all know how one recent Republican administration oh-so-proficiently responded to a major natural disaster -- conjuring up (rescue row-)boat-loads of that magic political "luck" :

President George W. Bush looks out over the devastation in New Orleans from Hurricane Katrina as he heads back to Washington D.C. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005, aboard Air Force One. This image is a work of an employee of the Executive Office of the President of the United States, taken or made during the course of the person's official duties. As a work of the U.S. federal government, the image is in the public domain.

(Quick update: Did not previously know that this TV loud-mouth (also) managed to broadcast some poor-choice words re 'Sandy': Off-site link, new window: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2012/11/07/chris_matthews_apologizes_for_saying_he_was_glad_for_hurricane_sandy.html)

BTW, of the electorate: If you are young, "culturally liberal"(?), a single woman, a union worker, and/or -- especially -- a minority, The WSJ - in part - points a finger (which one??) at you, for their candidate's defeat. So apparently voters who happen to be part of (any of) those 'groups' should be feeling quite powerful today....

"The battle for liberty begins anew this morning", the opinion article concludes with a cry.  As noted here previously, this standard-bearer for "The Party of Ramblin' White Dudes" should indeed mount-it-up behind their octogenarian "cultural" hero, ranting and ravin'-on at empty chairs (watch for shaky-handed guns though, too) .... as the rest of America moves forward.

P.S. As noted we are moving on here....But: Shhhhhhhhhhhhh (link).

Prescient article (link) from 2009 also there, Whigs.....

>>>> As you may know ....Karl Rove (he's NOT in jail??) and Fox "News" utterly imploded (via spectacular denial) on election night. Let a "pro" take you through that, via this off-site link (new window opens): http://www.businessinsider.com/jon-stewart-fox-news-karl-rove-megyn-kelly-election-obama-2012-11
(The video currently says 'content not available', but seems to still play in the background.)
Oh, and Sarah Palin/Bill O'Reilly also blamed you "non-real Americans"....for everything
