Contra-English: Aggressively dangerous rebar

Part of a run-on sentence from an actual news article recently published:

"...her family parked in one of the city-owned lots across the street from the arena and when she emerged from the passenger side of the car, she fell face-down on the ground after a rebar hooked inside the front of her Ugg boots..."

Those rebar creatures will getcha....(Especially if you've got those particular boots??)
